Bertie Beetle was created in the 1960's to rival the popular Freddo Frog. He first appeared in the Hoadley's Chocolate Showbag in 1963 and into the hearts of Australians. 60 years later, Bertie Beetle is a firm favourite amongst show go-ers and is an icon of the Royal Shows in Australia.
